ABOUT THE BASH
Our Vision
The Mecklenburg County Back 2 School Bash exists to serve students in Mecklenburg County as they prepare for school. For students in K-12, we strive to provide school supplies needed to prepare for a successful year.
Students
Any student in Mecklenburg County Schools can register and receive a free backpack, school supplies, a pair of socks, and a new pair of unbranded athletic shoes. Please note the student has to be present to receive the supplies.
Volunteer
The BASH does not happen without an army of volunteers. We partner with a few hundred people to make this event go seamlessly. We serve as volunteers by greeting people, working the registration tables, and handing out supplies and shoes. We also seek bilingual volunteers. Information on joining the 2025 Bash team coming soon.
Donate
Sponsors are the ones who can make the BASH happen financially. It takes thousands of dollars to pull this event off. Whether you are an individual, local business, non-profit, or corporation, we'd love to partner with you.
